FAQ
Frequently Asked Questions

Q: Why can’t you marry same sex couples?
A: You are more than welcome to make up your own rules- it is your game after all.  You may play the game with alternative or “house rules” that allow for dating and marrying same sex couples if you would like.  When writing the rules, we tried to keep it simple but the game allows for same sex couples to be matched instead of opposite sex couples.

Q: Do I have to choose a card from one of my fellow players if they have a match to my card that I present?
A: No, you don’t have to choose a card to match from the ones presented but only if there is a card in the dating pool that matches your card.  If there is not a card in the dating pool that matches, then you must choose from the matches presented to you from your fellow players.

Q: If I have a match to another player’s card do I have to offer it up when asked?
A: Yes.  If you have two, however, you may choose which one you present.

Q: When can I play a special card?
A: You can play a special card any time after the dice are rolled, however, you must play it immediately after the roll of the dice.

Q: Can I play special cards on myself?
A: Yes.  You must present the special card after you roll.
